My Name is Joy and I am an Artist here in the Blue Ridge mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. I studied Art at UNCA and graduated as Undergrad Research Scholar for the Art Technique I developed. After graduating I became a Mural Artist at the Children's Hospital for 2 years. I enjoy using art as a therapy. I have had experience as an art teacher and currently am doing so as I paint on the side.  I love being outside in nature and in all of my works I encompass items found in nature and or landscapes. I look forward to continuing to paint and teach children the Joy of art and teaching skills to express their creativity. My dream is to have an Art Barn where I have my studio, teach children/ adults art, and have my dog and chickens running around.
